Issue:
This section of the stream runs through a culvert in very poor condition. The sediments around the culvert fall into the stream due to the erosion. In addition, a considerable amount of branches are blocking fish passage.
Action Required:
A restoration of the culvert is required. Riprap each side could improve the situation and reduce the impacts of erosion. Selective cutting of the branches would improve fish habitat.
