Issue:
An old sawmill is located near this site on the left bank. Lots of sawdust and slash piles are found in the riparian zone. Water falls are a barrier for Atlantic salmon migration.
Action Required:
Sawdust should be removed from this site in order to minimize the risks of contaminating the river. A fish ladder should be built to help salmon migration upstream.
