Issue:

Public access gravel road in Alcida that crosses the stream with a wooden bridge (E630). The cage structure in unstable and rotting (creozote on wood). Camp on the left bank at about 90 m upstream from the bridge.

Action Required:

The bridge should be fixed or replaced with a new structure. Replace the wooden planks on the culvert with wood that does not contain creozote.

The bridge has been repaired with a new metal structure for support. However, the wood containing creosote is always present.
