Issue:
Culvert on Nicholas Denys road and a small bridge on a private residential property. Short cut grass along the brook.
Action Required:
Make sure the banks around the bridge and the culvert are stable. The lawn shouldn’t be cut along the edge of the water. It is relatively simple to restore a buffer zone because all you need to do is let nature take its course. The first step consists of simply not cutting the strip beside the water. Before long, natural vegetation will reclaim its rights and benefit your property. Shortly after that, shrubs and trees will take root.
